The structured design of the modules, or "folders," ensures that only the latest updated files are available for team members, reducing the risk of wasted time and resources.

The BcStep team, with over 25 years of experience in the design and construction management field, has meticulously named and designed modules for file-sharing and data processing, which can be colloquially referred to as "folders." This system is specifically crafted to address the frustrations that arise when team members inadvertently work with outdated files.

Upon completing work, the file creator responsible for sharing the finalized files in the appropriately named "folder," himself to ensure that others can access the most recent version at the designated location. Notably, when a creator uploads an updated file with the same title, the previous version is automatically canceled, guaranteeing that users only encounter the latest file.

It's important to emphasize here that even the file creator cannot delete an uploaded file. Instead, they can only cancel the previous version and upload a new one. The canceled files remain accessible for reference in a designated "Cancelled" folder, should the need arise. Furthermore, immediate notifications are sent to all recipients through the BcStep app whenever a file is shared, minimizing the likelihood of anyone missing a received file. This meticulous file management approach by the BcStep team aims to optimize collaboration and prevent the significant time and financial losses associated with working with the outdated information.

BcStep has streamlined the onboarding process for a new team member by providing instantly organized access to up-to-date project-related information. If a new person joins any organization, there's no longer a need to request detailed HR updates. Simply connecting them to BcStep will automatically furnish complete details, including designations, names, and contact numbers for all team members across offices involved in the projects, ensures a quick and organized integration for efficient coordination within and across offices.

As project team members are added or removed by any office, notifications are promptly sent to the new member's office-team as well as other offices working on the project. This ensures seamless communication without causing disruptions.

Furthermore, there's no longer a requirement to hand over project data to a new team member. Upon connection to their assigned projects, they automatically gain access to all previous files meticulously organized by the creators, as well as future files. If there's a decision not to share the "old files," that option is available. Additionally, the new team member is notified about pending responses by his outgoing colleague to other offices working on any project.
