The GFC (Good for Construction) module allows architects/consultants to issue plans, ensuring that duplicate uploads are prevented. At the concept stage, BcStep's tendering platform ensures transparency by allowing the developer's office to obtain quotes from suppliers/contractors with secure encryption. This encryption, controlled by senior authorized personnel, maintains confidentiality until authorized for disclosure. The auto-comparative process and notifications for unusual pricing, deviating by more than 20%, aid in identifying genuine vendors. The comprehensive tracking of revised pricing, regardless of frequency, provides senior decision-makers with complete control and insights, facilitating the selection of the best vendor for the job. .
The tendering system includes a notification feature that alerts senior personnel if a tendering engineer overlooks a received revised quote from any vendor. BcStep eliminates non-productive tasks for the engineering site team, as Daily Work Reports (DWR) are prepared by contractors and their site supervision teams. The developer/PMC's engineering team can modify these reports as needed. Automatic updates on labour attendance in DWR, as soon labours mark their attendance, ensures focus of engineering team only on productive works.
BcStep simplifies the process of creating meeting agendas and minutes. Individual offices involved in the meeting can prepare agendas, while MOM (Minutes of the Meeting) are also prepared by the respective offices. Later, the developer/PMC's office can edit these submissions for accuracy.
Tracking available for resources like machinery and formwork/scaffolding/safety materials further aids in optimizing available resources & overall project efficiency.
